Takstar SGC-698 On Camera Shotgun Microphone

The Takstar SGC-698 is a stereo, on-camera shotgun microphone for interviews and general video work. It’s suitable for use with DSLR & Digital Video of most makes and models.

Featuring a sleek, aluminium alloy body, the mic has an excellent pick-up range (up whilst retaining accuracy and very good reduction of background and ambient noise). Robust RFI shielding technology ensures effective protection from mobile phone signal interference. Furthermore, the on-board sensitivity switch allows you to set the gain level according to the distance from your subject. Additionally, there’s a low-cut function to further reduce noise.

Conveniently, the Takstar SGC-698 will fit most digital cameras as standard via the cold-shoe adapter. Built-in anti-vibration design helps reduction mechanical noise as well handling and unwanted noise from vibration. A standard CR2032 3V button battery is all that’s required to power your mic (low power indicator shows when to replace the battery).
