Studio Monitor Speakers
Why studio and not general listening? Great question, and there’s a good reason. Most hi-fi speakers are built with a specific bias, often in the low-end. This can be great for general listening but not so good for mixing. Conversely, a good pair of studio monitor speakers will sound fairly neutral. That’s exactly what we’ve done with the RVAM1’s – they won’t flatter your sound. They’ll let you hear exactly what you need to hear in great detail, allowing you to get great mix. The RVAM1 Studio Monitor Speakers are ‘active’ meaning that you don’t need a separate amplifier. The amplifiers are already built-in and balanced perfectly to the speakers. You can connect to the RVAM1’s using either an XLR or JACK cable via in the in-built ‘combi’ socket. Simply plug them in, hook them up, switch them on and you’re good to go. Each speaker has it’s own master volume control.
