The Red5 Audio
drum set is obviously designed as a high quality set of microphones
for recording a drum kit; however each of the individual microphones
can also be used for a wide variety of applications. Some of the

RVD1
& RVD9's
One
RVD1 primarily intended for kick drum and four RVD9s primarily
intended for snare drum and toms.
Rugged construction comprising of solid zinc die-cast metal
housing and hardened steel mesh grille.
Cardioid polar patterns are used throughout the set to
maximise the rejection of unwanted sound sources.
Included with every set is four drum mounts to secure your
microphones to the drums rims without the need for bulky microphone
stands.
Capable of handling very high sound pressure levels allowing
for distortion free recording of even the lloudest source.
High quality gold plated internal and external connectors.
This prevents oxidisation of contacts, which can dramatically
reduce the quality of your audio signal.
RV4's
A small
½ in. diaphragm, coupled with a smooth, flat frequency
response, accurately captures even the subtlest performance.
Cardioid polar pattern allows for detailed capture of a
specific source, while rejecting noise from surrounding sources.
Option of being powered by a single internal AA battery.
This allows for location recordings where phantom power is not
available
Capable of handling high sound pressure levels ( up to
136dB) allowing for an extremely wide variety of applications.
External On / Off switch allows for conservation of battery
life when recording 'on location.
High quality gold plated internal and external connectors.
This prevents oxidisation of contacts, which can dramatically
reduce the quality of your audio signal.
